Who Would Jesus Party With? With Mike McGarry

Living the Christian life includes the struggle of being in the world but not of the world. Jesus himself says we are to be separate from the world, (John 17:16) and yet he also tells us we are sent into the world and to let our light shine before others. (John 17:18; Matt. 5:14-16) This is a hard balance to strike, especially when it comes to the time we spend with our non-Christians friends. Is it okay to be friends with people who don’t follow Jesus? Should we go to parties with them when we know it’s not a “Christian” party?
