Have you ever wondered why God made the world the way that he did? Maybe you think this isn’t important because who really knows? But God wants us to know, so he tell us.

While the creation account of Genesis 1 tells us about God’s creating activity, it’s Genesis 2:1-3 which tell us God’s purpose. Specifically, when it says, “…so on the seventh day God rested from all his work.”

Have you ever wondered why God “rested” on the seventh day? Was it because he was tired? Of course not. He’s God after all.

In this video, Scott explains the real meaning behind God’s “rest” on the seventh day, and what it reveals to us about God’s reason for creating the world, and his purpose for the universe.

Still wondering more about God’s purpose for the world, and for you?

Seeing the World as Jesus Sees It is a four-part video series that walks you through the Grand Story of the Bible, challenges your worldview, and gives you answers to ultimate questions about God.
