Christianity, Judaism and Islam are often referred to as the three Abrahamic faiths, each tracing its historical roots to the Old Testament patriarch, Abraham.
They also share many similar beliefs about God, causing many to conclude that, notwithstanding their differences, Christians, Jews, and Muslims all worship the same God.
But is this really true?
Is the God who is worshipped by Christians, Jews and Muslims essentially the same God simply worshipped in different ways? Or is there an irreconcilable difference between the God that each religion claims to worship?
