Devoted Moms Can Change The World

If you're a Christian mom who is feeling a bit discouraged at the task of raising your kids to follow Jesus, then this post is for you.

I'm not a mom, but I'm married to one, so I think I have enough 'street-cred' to say with some authority that being a mom isn't easy. You worry about your kids…A LOT. You want them to turn out right. You want them to be safe, and happy, and successful. In short, you want the best for your kids.

For Christian moms however, the weight is even greater because in addition to the worries of the 'everyday' comes the burden you have for your child's eternal destiny. Christian mothers should desire above all else that their children will embrace Christ and live fully surrendered to Him. And God has uniquely positioned you (along with dads) to have the most influential role in leading your kids to Christ. But how can you do that and who can teach you how? If you're wondering that too then here is a book that I wish every Christian mom would read.

Cruciform Press just released (May 3rd, 2018) "Devoted: Great Men and Their Godly Moms" by Tim Challies. Moms, if you want to raise godly children who follow Christ but wonder how on earth to do that or feel like all of your efforts are for naught, then you need to read this book. Not because you'll find stories about perfect moms who did everything right. In fact many of the stories are about children who grew up in seemingly hopeless rebellion against God, only to be powerfully transformed later in life when God brought them under deep conviction over what they had once learned on their mother's laps and in response to their mother's relentless prayers.

Moms, whether you're raising little ones who you long to receive Christ one day, or are in the throws of rearing your children through childhood or adolescence, or carry heartache over grown children who have strayed from their faithfulness to Christ, then order a copy of "Devoted"...like right now!
